Kristina started her CrossFit journey in May 2018 dropping in with some friends, and she has been in love with the sport ever since. She became increasingly active in her role in the former CrossFit Excursion graduating from an OG member, to a Coach, to leading the kids program, and managing the gym’s day-to-day busness. In the fall of 2022, Kristina took over as Owner of Bold Athletics, LLC.
She is very passionate about health and wellness and sharing that love with others. Kristina worked as a healthcare administrator for a number of years as well as the former Director of Wellness & Chronic Disease at the Greater Johnstown Community YMCA where she oversaw group fitness, personal training, and chronic disease programs. Kristina holds her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and a Masters of Health Management Systems from Duquesne University, and she is a published author of “H.E.A.L.T.H.Y. Eats” cookbook.
When Kristina is not at the gym, she is busy standing out, being bold in the community as a Dance Teacher at Le Dance Academie, serves as Chairperson of the Cambria-Somerset Outstanding Young Woman Scholarship Program, and is very active at her church, St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church. Kristina has also worked with several school districts in the area serving as musical choreograher, choreogrpher, and color guard instructor. She also held the national title of Ms. US Universal 2016 and international title of Ms. Universal 2017 where she fully embraced and learned of her love for health and fitness through developing her platform, H.E.A.L.T.H.Y. - Helping Everyone Achieve a Lifestyle To a Healthy You.
Kristina’s favorite lifts are all the squats, deadlifts, and cleans. You can find her keeping up with the guys, or pushing them to go heavier, any day! Her favorite notable WOD is any long chipper like Hero WOD “Zeus” or a version of the “12 Days of Christmas”!
CrossFit and working out have changed my life. I was always a dancer, and still teach dance to this day, but I was never a sports playing athlete. I am more athletic than I have ever been, and I am in the best shape of my life. Through CrossFit I am truly proud of what my body can do and what it looks like. I am strong, and I have embraced it. Through this sport, I have learned how to push myself, learn and grow and achieve more than I ever thought possible.

It is through my love of coaching and teaching that I am able to help others discover their ""why"" and want to makes small daily changes to live a healthy lifestyle. I know that the journey can be long and hard, and I want to help lead people on their healthy journey. Seeing my athletes hit PRs, trying knew movements, playing with the children/grandchildren, feeling good in their own skin are some of the biggest wins I can experience as a coach!
